The End

The last days of our trip. We enjoyed a few more swims on Saturday morning, then caught a ferry to Athens. Stayed at a hotel not far from the Metro station. Then Sunday morning, we said goodbye to Lisa and Dan on the Metro (they got off a few stops before us to go to meeting) and hit the airport.

Three last swims in the Aegean...

One last trek down the cobblestone road to the Hydra port

The ferry we rode from Hydra back to Athens

We found a Pizza Hut and a Cinnabon! Lisa especially enjoyed Pizza Hut pizza with extra pepperoni, as you cannot find that in Is. Then we got some Cinnabon and gobbled it at the hotel.

Goodbye Greece....It was interesting - we boarded the plane at 11:45 am in Athens...flew for nearly 12 hours....arrived in Philidelphia at around 4 pm....then flew to Portland. Never saw darkness, as we followed the sun around the globe. It was nice to get home in the evening so we could go straight to bed.

Look who was at the airport to pick us up! Uncle Lar and Aunt Elaine took us home in their new car!
