I went home for the weekend. This winter has brought an extra amount of snow, especially in the Cascade Mountains. Dad and Mom had snow on the ground and it snowed a few inches while I was there. Since we don't get much snow in Portland, it was awesome to get to see so much snow!
This is on my way back home over the Mt. Hood pass. Notice the height of snow on the side of the road....probably about 10 feet deep. This is from the snowplows plowing the snow to the side of the road. I remember it being this tall only when we were kids.
This is at Government Camp Village on top of the Mount Hood pass.....check out that SUV with about 7 feet of show on top! (A heavy load)
